What do I get for the ticket price? Entry to the True You Party, the opportunity to commune with likeminded people in a fun, social environment, the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful music of Chris Natoli in a relaxed setting, finger food, a drink card for your first drink, a mini massage or reading, use of cards and games, entry in the door prize raffle, the chance to promote your products, services or courses via the True You Networking Table and maybe some other little surprises at the organisers' discretion...
This True You Party features...
The Live Act: Sit back and immerse yourself in beautiful Music for the Soul, created and performed by Chris Natoli. Chris will be playing in the Main Room from about 5pm.
The Main Room: Grab a drink, listen to some mellow tunes, chat to old and new friends about "Conversations with God" or "The Power of Now", play games, do your own card reading or sit around and just be.
The True You Networking Table: If you happen to have a business, product, service, course or event that you would like to promote, please bring some flyers, brochures or business cards and put them on the True You Networking Table, where True You Partygoers can pick up those items that attract their interest.
The Food: Finger food will be served in the Main Room between 5pm and 7pm and is included in the ticket price.
The Drinks: Your first drink (beer, wine or soft drink) is included in the ticket price - please make sure you get a drink card at the door when you arrive. Subsequent drinks are at bar prices and at your own expense. Happy Hour until 8pm - house red/white/sparking wine and Stella beers for $5. Please be responsible and if you're planning on drinking, bring a designated driver with you to the party!
The Small Room: Initially, this room will be reserved for the readers and therapists. Readings and body therapies will run from 3:30pm. Please make your booking, with your special name sticker, in the Main Room. There is a limit of one session per person. Then, hang out in the Main Room and you will be called when it's your turn.
The Door Prize Raffle: Make sure you get your entry form at the door when you arrive. Fill it in and put it in the Door Prize box on the Networking Table. Prizes will be drawn on the hour from 5pm.
The Fun: Once again, this is somewhat up to you, but we'll do our best to help you have an abundance of it.
Extra things to know...
Code of Conduct: You may encounter people with different beliefs to yours and different outlooks on life. Please respect that they are entitled to their beliefs just as you are entitled to yours. Friendly debates are fine and a great deal can be learnt from them but please remember that everyone has the right to their own truth. Remember, accept... allow... be...
What to Wear: We'd like you to wear whatever you're comfortable in. The venue requests that you wear "smart attire" - no thongs, shorts, singlets or ripped jeans, please.
Who You Are: True You Parties are open to everyone - all age groups, singles, couples and groups, no matter what your background is or your beliefs are. You don't have to be a natural therapist or a new age guru. If you want to meet people, who share your interest self-awareness, personal development, holistic health and wellness, energy stuff, the power of the mind and spirituality, in a relaxed social environment, then this may be the place for you. Please note that this is an over 18 event.
Tickets: In the hope of eventually saving some trees, tickets will not be sent out. Your name and the number of tickets you purchased will be on the guest list at the door. Please ensure all members of your group know the name the booking was made under, especially if you will not be arriving together. All tickets will be pre-purchased. Tickets will not be available at the door.
Future Involvement: True You is looking for passionate people, who are interested in being involved in future True You events - therapists, performers, DJ's, bands, artists, readers and business owners. Whether you want to perform, practice or promote your products or services, we'd love to hear from you. Therapists, please note that you need to have your own insurance if you will be practicing your therapy at a Party.
Items Left on the True You Networking Table: If you leave promotional materials on the True You Networking Table, you're welcome to take any remaining materials home with you. Anything left on the Table at the end of the night will be collected and put on the Table at the next True You event if the material is deemed to still be current.
Photos: Any photos taken by the organisers at a Party are the property of the organisers and may be published on the True You website or in other promotional material.
What This Isn't: True You Parties are not religious events - anyone of any faith, belief, truth or understanding is welcome....oh, and because people have been asking, they're not raves either.
What This Is: A great opportunity to be yourself, to meet and mingle with likeminded people, to maybe have some new experiences and, above all, to have fun!
